Neverending Twilight is the first release in the Geodesia Series, live recordings from the AutonAmoeba dome at the annual Festival With A Thousand Names in upstate NY. This is the first performance by the full Plan 23 lineup of Gregory/Principle/Scholz/Slater/von Stuermer (WvS), being Brother Karl’s first. A rare three guitar configuration, Brother Peter not yet having settled on the bass guitar. This album is dedicated to both Peter Principle and everyone who has come to the Festival With A Thousand Names, all of you. You are a part of the energy that helped create us.

Plan 23 live @ Neverending Festival, Preston-Potter Hollow, NY 7/20/2013
Recorded live, post production by Dok Gregory at 23 Windows studio and 23 Windows remote at Ft. Lb. studio Brooklyn, NYC, 2013 and 2020.

CD: “INTUITION AND ITS CONSEQUENCES”

“With this debut release Dok Gregory, Peter Principle, Karl Scholz, Jeremy Slater and Wolfgang von Stuermer (aka WvS) exhibit a new stream of collective spontaneous compositions at the intersection of concepts stemming from Cage’s indeterminacy, Stockhausen’s Intuitive Music, as well as early psychedelic sound. Ocean waves of textured, mostly electronic sound palettes form an integrated music that is beyond specific styles, but doesn’t deny any of them, as it crosses the sensitivity of great improvisors with the experimentation of early electronics pioneers. The group draws inspirations from sources as diverse as ambient music, European electronic avant-garde, dark noise, Xenakis’ computer music, and space rock – redefining psychedelic music for the 21st century.”
